About Me

I am Andrea Dinh.

Growing up in Guadalajara as the daughter of a bodybuilding coach and gym owner, it was normal in my childhood to play around in gyms and sit in my daddy’s lap helping him create meal plans. It’s hard now to imagine myself as that very chubby, unhealthy nine-year-old who used to swear that she’d never end up in the health industry or be anything like her dad. Well, look at me now…

I am a nutritionist to professional athlete and an eating psychology coach. With bold honesty and unequivocal encouragement, I help my clients get in shape, stay healthy, and reach their next levels in athletic performance through world-class online coaching programs and one-on-one consultation. My hubby Chef Ti Dinh and I love cooking and creating new recipes together that match the busy lifestyles and demanding taste buds of our clients.

About Us

People often ask me,
“How on earth did you get started in all this?”

After a lifetime of curiosity about the human body and how people vary in their metabolisms and struggles with diet, I made it through two years of medical school but could never quite fit into the regular pharmaceutical system.

I decided to take everything I learned from all those years in my dad’s gym and become a dietitian, combining my passion for combat sports and my desire to help the human body reach its fullest potential, stay healthy, and avoid chronic illness.

Being an athlete does not imply that one is healthy. In fact, through working with my clients, I’ve discovered that sometimes athletes are the most unhealthy people, constantly putting their bodies through intense restrictive and extreme dieting, varying eating disorders, or transitioning between periods of strict clean eating and junk food binging, not to mention their inevitable battles with outdated myths about nutrition. I help professional athletes approach nutrition in a healthier, easier, and more effective way. More importantly, I believe that no matter your dreams or obstacles, you have the power right there on your fork to change your life, and by doing so, influence the lives of those around you. A huge amount of hard work, countless referrals, and a whole lot of grace led me into working with world champions in different arenas like Brazilian jiu jitsu, MMA, soccer, powerlifting, triathlons, and more. You can read about some of the athletes with whom I’ve worked in the testimonials section here.

I am here to serve. Our company is built around a commitment to learning about your unique individual needs and helping you understand your own body. Whether you are flourishing or just starting out in your athletic career, my goal is not for you to need me, but to empower you to eventually become your own nutritionist.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. This is just the beginning, and I’d love to learn more about you. The best way to share your story with me is to become one of our Amani members simply by entering your name and email. Become an Amani member.
